TEACHING, CURRICULUM DESIGN, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS & TUTORIALS

Graduating from MIT's Fab Academy segued into being sought out to set up the first FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) in a K-12 public school setting.

 

Author of a STEM-centric course and teacher of Digital Fabrication to:

  • Public High School - Mahtomedi HS

  • Public Charter School - Math & Science Academy

  • Public College - Century College

  • Private University - University of St. Thomas

  • Summer STEM Camp - University of St. Thomas STEPs (to encourage young girls to explore careers in Science & Technology)

  • Pop–Up Shop - mobile training workshops traveling to small businesses or individual learners

 

Personally amassing all 6 pieces of typical FabLab equipment (knife-plotters, 3D scanners, 3D printers, laser-cutter, mini-mill and CNC router), as well as diverse supportive software, has led to a unique portable FabLab which can venture out to all types of schools, corporations or workforce re-training locations to teach digital fabrication to all sectors.
